Introduction to Cardiac Catheterisation / Cath Lab - 2 Day

This course is aimed at healthcare practitioners who assist with cardiac catheterisation procedures. This course is designed to introduce the fundamental basics of cardiac catheterisation, from providing an understanding of the equipment, performing an assisting role to basic interpretation of cardiac angiograms.

Sessions will include:

  • Cardiac coronary anatomy
  • Instrumentation (understanding the equipment)
  • Diagnostics
  • Interpretation
  • Complications
  • Do's and don'ts
  • Trouble shooting

The sessions will be interactive and provide practical examples of cardiac angiography to support your learning. An onsite assessment will be done post course completion.
